This is the last update you’ll receive through this campaign. It’s been two and a half years since we set out to make user-friendly neurostimulation available to everyone, and what a journey it has been! 

Today, we have clocked over 67.000 sessions, PlatoWork is used by people in more than 80 countries worldwide and together we are continuously uncovering the potentials of the tDCS technology. This is the reason we’re reaching out to you now; to say a last big THANK YOU for supporting us and making PlatoWork a reality, but also to invite you to take part in the next chapter:

Donate your PlatoWork headset to medical research

You may not know this, but your PlatoWork is actually more than a cognitive enhancement tool. It’s a medical-grade tDCS device, which can make a material difference in the research and potential treatment of a range of conditions (i.e. depression, addiction, Long-Covid, and others.).* This year, we have obtained the necessary classifications to contribute to this exciting work by partnering with scientists and healthcare professionals. But we need your help.

As things currently stand in the world of manufacturing, we cannot meet the demand from interested research partners. That is why we invite you toDONATE YOUR HEADSET to research and help realise some of the projects, which are currently on hold due to a lack of products. We know that this is an unconventional request and that the majority of PlatoWork users are very happy with their products. However, we are also aware that there are devices out there that are being used quite infrequently, and these are the ones we encourage you to consider donating to a worthy cause. 

If you are enjoying your PlatoWork experience as it is, you should of course keep doing so, and we will continue to support you in any way we can. But if you feel like your PlatoWork could do more good in the hands of medical researchers, pleaseconsider donating. Whichever you choose, we are grateful!
